13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Pascual met with Facility Representative Oksana Ryan at approximately 8:30am on December 3rd, 2021 to deliver the amdended findings for the above allegation.
According to the complaint a “Facility left children unsupervised.” During the course of this investigation, LPA conducted interviews with four (4) teachers, 4 (four) children and three (3) parents in addition to the Director. The Director stated that there may have been a lapse of supervision at some point when the facility first opened but could not be sure. Further, the Director stated that because it was in the early stages of a new facility that supervision was being addressed with staff and training was being conducted. The Director stated these meaures would prevent any supervision concerns with her teachers.
Based on LPA’s observations and interviews which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore, the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with licensee.
Notice of site visit was provided and is to be posted for 30 days.
