13 | On July 12th, 2022 at 2:00PM, LPA Pascual met with Facility Representative to deliver complaint findings for the allegation above. Upon arrival, LPA observed 28 students in care and two staff.
Reporting Party alleged that a child was left unsupervised while the classroom of children, including staff went outside for recess. It was reported that the class was outside for approximately 30 minutes while a napping child was left inside. Furthermore, it was reported that a teacher did not count in or count out the amount of children as they were released for outside time. LPA interviewed the Director and through admission it was confirmed that the facility was aware of a child being left alone, napping and unsupervised. Moreover, LPA interviewed the child that was left alone and it was confirmed that the child was left alone and had to be awoken when the class came back inside from recess.
