25 | On 05/04/2022, Application Specialist (AS) Mai Lor and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery conducted an announced pre-licensing follow-up case management inspection at the above facility. AS and LPA met with Applicant Zhen Zhen Li and conducted a tour of the interior and exterior of the facility. Also present during this inspection were two staff. Prior to this inspection, AS received revised LIC 200A indicating that the facility will be serving infants ages 12-24 months, infant napping area waiver request to eliminate the infant napping area, insufficient outdoor waiver request, revised parent handbook, revised admission agreement, and revised fire clearance.
The two classrooms were re-measured without the napping area. The total classroom space contained a total of 552.8565 square feet, which will accommodate 15 infants.
During this inspection, AS and LPA observed the following:
1. Sufficient amount of age-appropriate toys and equipment for outdoor use
2. All cabinets underneath the sinks have been cleaned
3. Outdoor canopies were installed
4. A green plastic net was laid over the wrought iron gate to enclose the fence gap
5. Cribs were removed and additional cots were observed
No deficiencies observed during this inspection.
Effective May 04, 2022, AS will approve the facility for a capacity of 15 infant children, licensed to serve children ages 12-24 months.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Applicant, Zhen Zhen Li.
