Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the facility director, Laurie Martins, for a case management inspection. The facility submitted the application to the Department for change of capacity from 15 infants to 12 infants, due to the addition of napping area. Purpose of today's inspection was inspect the napping area and remeasure the activity area.

During today's inspection, LPA remeasured the activity area and found the classroom has 369.74 Sqft area, which is acceptable for ten children. The facility was inspection by local fire department on April 19, 2023 and approval was granted. There is no changes in the play yard, therefore, the play yard was not measured during today's inspection. The play yard was measured during the inspection on April 20, 2022 and was found to have 713.197 Sqft area. LPA discuss and informed the director that because the napping area took the space away from the activity area and activity area of 369.74 Sqft is available, the maximum capacity for the license can be granted is ten. LPA asked the director to submit an updated application to the Department and letter to update the waiver.

Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the facility staff, Hequn Chen. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
