Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the facility director, Laurie Martins, and the owner, Zhen Zhen Li, for a case management inspection. The facility requested the change of capacity from 15 children to 12 children in care and has included the cribs in they designated the space for napping children. During the inspection conducted on May 16, 2023, LPA measured the activity space of the facility. After the inspection, the facility made changes in the napping area and requested the LPA to inspect and measure the facility.

During today’s inspection, LPA measured the activity space for the infants, which includes the main classroom and portion of the nap room. The facility has made two portions of the napping room, with one section designated for napping and one area designated for children activity. The room has half wall partition separating the both portions. The total area measured for children activity was found to be 491.8529 square feet. LPA observed the facility has three cribs and one sleeping cot in the nap area. There has been no changes in the play yard, therefore, the play yard was not measured. Based on today's measurements and the inspection, it was found that the facility has sufficient indoor activity space for requested 12 children and sufficient cribs for three infants (children less than 12 months old). The facility's request for change of capacity from 15 to 12 children will forwarded to the licensing program manager for final review, along with this report and the measurements.

Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the owner. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
