On 4/29/2025, License Program Analyst (LPA) Pa Dao Vang conducted a complaint investigation inspection made to the regional office on 4/23/2025. LPA met with the Director Yvette Pimentel to investigate on the above allegations. LPA observed 18 children supervised by 3 staff during outside and indoor activities.

During the inspections on 4/24/2025 and 4/29/2025, LPA conducted interviews, made observations, and gathered documentation, and reviewed files. Most of the staff stated the teachers uses normal tone of voices when disciplining or redirecting child’s behaviors. The parents, children, and staffs’ interviews also revealed no staff handled day care child in a rough manner or made inappropriate comment to child in care. Based on LPA’s investigation, there are no Title 22 violations at the facility.

Therefore, although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore they are unsubstantiated. There is no deficiency issued today. An exit interview was conducted, notice of site visit, and appeal rights were provided to Director Yvette Pimentel. Notice of site visit will be posted for 30 consecutive days.
