25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams met with Licensee Shamea Robinson for the purpose of an unannounced case management inspection. Licensee has requested to increase from a small family childcare to a large family child care. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. LPA observed two children present during today’s inspection.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Off-limits areas will remain the same, which are the second floor, bedrooms #2 and #3, pool, and the garage. Licensee acknowledges that she must contact Community Care Licensing prior to making an off-limit area on-limits and vice versa. A fire clearance was granted on November 11, 2023.
LPA discussed CCR Regulation 102416.5 regarding staffing Ratio and Capacity for a large license.
LPA discussed personnel requirements and records outlined in CCR Regulations 102416 and 102416.1.
Licensee understands that when an assistant is not present, she must comply with the capacity and ratio requirements for a Small Family Child Care Home.
The following corrections are needed prior to approval of large family child care home license:
1. Review of the pool fencing in regards to the detached garage.
This facility evaluation report was reviewed and discussed with the licensee Shamea Robinson. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and should remain posted for 30 days for parental review. |
