On May 1, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Kyrsten Williams and Stephanie Piring met with Facility Representative, director Amber Munoz, for the purpose of delivering findings for the above allegation. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Census included 53 preschool children and 3 toddler children being supervised by 9 staff members.

It was alleged that the facility has been operating out of ratio. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted staff interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. During interviews, five out of five staff stated there have not been issues or concerns regarding ratio at the facility as of recent. LPA reviewed records of classroom attendance sheets and staff time sheets. Facility has updated classroom attendance sheets to include children and staff present in each classroom throughout the day. LPA observed there may have been times staff forgot to sign in/out on the classroom attendance sheets. LPA reviewed staff time sheets and observed sufficient amount of staff present each day to be within ratio in the classrooms. LPA made observations during inspections and observed the facility was operating within ratio.

After interviews, record review and observations, LPA did not learn of any evidence to corroborate the allegation that the facility is operating out of ratio. Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

Exit interview conducted and report reviewed with facility representative, director Amber Munoz. A notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for the next 30 days.
