13 | On July 16, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams met with director, Amber Munoz to deliver complaint findings for the above allegations. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. Present today was 44 napping children in care being supervised by 6 staff members. Throughout the investigation, LPA made observations and conducted interviews with staff, children, and parents.
It was alleged staff do not provide adequate supervision to day-care children and staff left day-care child unattended. During interviews with staff, it was revealed staff follow a curriculum and stay engaged with children to ensure adequate supervision. Staff also stated they bring groups of children to the bathroom to make sure all children are supervised and staff stay within ratio. Nine out of nine staff stated they did not recall an incident where a child was left unattended. Child and parent interviews did not disclose concerns about supervision. During times of inspection, LPA observed staff adequately supervising children in care.
