13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Loraine Perez and Joshua Hatch met with Licensee MARIYA SIMONYAN, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced subsequent complaint investigation inspection pertaining to the above allegation. The purpose of today's inspection was explained to the licensee. During today's inspection, LPAs conducted interviews and delivered findings for allegation Licensee is not treating daycare child fairly.
Witness statements, LPA observations, and document reviews failed to corroborate the allegation. Licensee and staff plan a curriculum for the children and make changes based on the children’s needs and development. The facility uses visual aids to assists with children who are developing spoken language. Licensee communicates with families with more than one method and seeks feedback from families. Interviews provided conflicting information regarding treating a daycare child fairly.
Although the allegation may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation; therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, MARIYA SIMONYAN,. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
