On Wednesday April 26th, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mandie Goodwin and Application Specialist (AS) Mai Lor met with Director Josette Davis to conduct a capacity increase and room addition. The 2 classrooms in the modular building were measured on 3/21/23 and will accommodate the requested capacity of 30 additional children between the 2 classrooms, bringing the total preschool capacity to 70 children.

Director sent a lease agreement to the office for the modular space.

LPA and AS observed an adequate amount of supplies, toys, and equipment in the modular building. For water Director plans to have children bring water bottles which can be refilled in the sink. LPA reviewed the lead requirement for testing water in child care facilities every 5 years and discussed PIN 21-21-CCP. LPA reminded director of personal rights, reporting requirements, open door policy, and the importance of 100% visual observation at all times.

As of today 4/26/2023 the modular building is approved for child care use and the capacity increase is granted for 70 preschool children.

LPA will update license to reflect new capacity.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director Josette Davis. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
