On 4/7/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Amanda Sutter and Mandie Goodwin met with Director Jamie Tulba for the purpose of an unannounced case management visit. Construction has finished on infant playground 1 and director requests approval to use the space. The facility’s hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 21 infants supervised by 10 staff. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.

LPAs conducted a health and safety inspection playground 1 and observed the area to be safe for use. LPAs observed a variety of age-appropriate outdoor toys and equipment. There are shaded areas supplied by building overhangs. The space was previously measured on 10/20/2022.

LPAs observed the garden area adjacent to playground 2 (toddler playground). The space is separated from the 2 year old playground and the toddler playground by a wrought iron gate. The director stated that they would like to use the garden area for the preschool and infant license and has submitted a request for a shared space waiver. Director has also included a rotating schedule for the garden space.

As of today, facility is approved to use playground 1 and the garden area for infants. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. In the areas observed, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Director, Jamie Tulba.
