Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Facility Representative Geraldine Denise Warr for the purpose of a case management - licensee initiated inspection. The Applicant requests an increase of capacity from the previous ten preschoolers to 23 preschoolers, ages two to entry into Kindergarten. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm. The fire clearance was received and granted on 06/25/2024.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The classroom configurations will remain the same with the single preschool and infant classrooms remaining in their same configurations. The applicant is aware that, if they choose to use the room in the future, they would need to contact licensing prior to any changes.

LPA Manabat measured a total of 908.39 sqft for the preschool room. The total square footage of the preschool classroom will accommodate the requested capacity 23 preschoolers. LPA Manabat observed a total of 3 sinks and 3 toilets in the preschool space.

LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. There is a first aid kit in each of the classrooms and disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one outdoor area on the property for preschoolers and a separate outdoor area for infants. Each of these spaces were measured during the previous inspection with preschool amounting to 1387.38 sqft which only accommodates 18 children and not the 23 requested.

LPA Manabat has made the facility representative aware that they will need to apply for a insufficient outdoor waiver to accommodate their requested capacity. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).

An exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative.
