32 | Through the sign in and out sheets, LPA learned there were only three infant/toddler children attended the program from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The parent interviews show no other concerns regarding the facility operating out of ratio.
On 1/23/2025, LPA also verified all staff supervising the children through their personnel files to be meeting the teacher’s qualifications including the infant units. Throughout the other inspection dates of 2/26/2025, and 3/5/2025, LPA observed the same fully qualified staff supervising the children. According to another staffs’ interview, S2 responded there are no time where an aide is left alone with children at the facility. When LPA asked S2, “How do you reach out for extra staff to support the ratio?” S2 responded, “S2: “Ms. Jerry (Geraldine) does it. She lets the owner and other Center know about it, and they’ll get staff from CCC.” S3 also stated “No, only time is when they are sleeping.” According to P3’s interview, Ms. Jerry and Ms. Linda are the typically teachers at drop offs in the mornings. LPA Vang also reviewed their staff files as fully qualified teachers. According to the parent interviews, there are no concerns regarding unqualified staff are supervising children at the facility.
Therefore, although the alleged violation may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore they are unsubstantiated. There is no deficiency issued today. An exit interview was conducted, notice of site visit, and appeal rights were provided to Director Geraldine Warr. |
