On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Pa Dao Vang and Amanda Sutter met with Director Bianca Mireflores to deliver findings regarding the above allegation. LPA observed 3 napping children supervised by 1 staff and 7 children awake supervised by 3 staff.

It was alleged that the facility left a child unattended in the classroom. During the investigation, LPAs conducted interviews, reviewed staff files, and gathered information. According to a staff interview, LPA learned that there was an incident of a Staff 1 (S1) returning to the downstairs basement with 3 children from the restrooms upstairs. Staff 2 (S1) passed S1 to take another child to the restroom. S2 thought S1 left children unattended in the basement classroom. When the Director checked the basement classroom, there was Staff 3 (S3) sitting at the side of playhouse with other children. Director explained that there was no children left unattended during this incident. LPA did not learn about any other incidents where children were left unattended in the classrooms.
