25 | On 01/08/2024 at approximately 9:00am, Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mandie Goodwin met with Owner Krystal Barlatt the purpose of a increase in capacity from 22 to 46 . The fire clearance (STD850) was granted and received on 12/27/2022. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one buildings on site that is used by the facility. There are four preschool areas: STEM room, Art Room, the Reading Area, and the main preschool room. LPAs observed a sufficient number of tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots for 46 preschool children. LPAs observed a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment. There is a first aid kit in the art room. Medications will be stored in the office in a locked box. Director stated that cleaning disinfectants will be stored in a locked storage closet adjacent to the infant room, which is inaccessible to children. The owner stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. Director stated that water will be provided to children using pitchers and cups.
There are no changes to the facility's indoor and outdoor space; therefore, CAB LPA used measurements from report dated 12/16/2022. The total classroom space contains a total of 1630.64 square feet, which will accommodate Applicant's request for 46 preschool children. There are 4 toilets and 6 sinks for the children, and a separate private restroom for the staff.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two outdoor areas on the property, one preschool and one designated for infants. CAB LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment and toys available for use. There are no changes to the outdoor activity space; therefore, CAB LPA did not take measurements. CAB LPA used measurements from report dated 12/27/2022. The outdoor play area contains a total of 12,943.39 square feet, which accommodates Applicant's request for 46 preschool children.
