Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the licensee, Sumayah Haidary, for an inspection of plan of correction. The facility was inspected on January 07, 2025 and citations were issued. Purpose of today’s inspection was to verify the corrections being made.

During today’s inspection, LPA observed the licensee has installed a child protective gate on the stairs to make them inaccessible. LPA observed the gate was steady and secure. LPA observed and tested carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm in the house. There is fully charged fire extinguisher in the kitchen. LPA observed the licensee has an updated fire drill log. Per log and licensee, last fire drill was conducted on January 10, 2025. Licensee has a valid Pediatric CPR training certificate until October 05, 2026. During inspection, LPA reviewed enrolled children records. LPA observed that licensee has all of the required documents for each child in care. Based on the record review, LPA observed the previous uncleared adult has obtained the criminal background clearance and is associated to this facility.

Based on today’s inspection, LPA observed the licensee has corrected the previously issued citations. No new deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the licensee, Sumayah Haidary. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
