25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Blesi met with Licensee Twonisha Bradley for the purpose of a pre-licensing inspection for a change of location. The Licensee was previously licensed under facility #343623229.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and out. The two story home has 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, a living room, family room, kitchen, laundry room and garage, and an in law suite. Off limit rooms consist of all upstairs and garage. The fenced backyard is accessible for children to play. Licensee understand that 100% supervision is required in any unfenced areas.
Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher size 2A10BC or larger were observed in the home. Pediatric CPR and first aid training was verified and expired on 6/2023. Licensee stated there are no weapons in the home.
Licensee has completed the required AB1207 Mandated Reporter training that will expire on 6/2023. Licensee understands that the training must be completed once every two years. Licensee understands that a current children's roster must be maintained and that a fire drill must be conducted and documented once every six months. Report Continued on LIC809-C... |
