13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Kyrsten Williams and Soleil Marx met with Facility Representative, Carrie Caron, for the purpose of conducting an initial complaint investigation inspection and delivering findings for the above allegation. The purpose of the inspection was explained.
Throughout the course of the investigation, LPAs made observations, conducted staff interviews, and reviewed relevant documentation. LPAs observed disinfectants of lysol and bleach solution in the classrooms, staff putting mouthed toys into the sink to be disinfected and a basket for dirty toys/linens. Staff had consistent statements that toys are disinfected daily at the end of the day or sooner if needed and that dirty or mouthed toys are placed in the sink or a basket to be disinfected. LPAs observed staff closing checklist procedures are posted and include wiping down toys at the end of the day. LPAs could not prove that staff are not cleaning toys. Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report reviewed with Facility Representative, Carrie Caron. Appeal rights provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
