Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello met with Owner/Director Charunika Jayasena to continue and close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegations. Today’s census was 63 children. LPA made observations, gathered documents pertaining to the investigation and conducted interviews. It was alleged that Staff#1 spoke angrily and rudely to a child. It was alleged that Staff#1 grabbed a child by the arm yanking them to their chair to sit. It was alleged that the facility did not report an injury/incident to authorized representative. Parent, staff and children’s interviews did not corroborate the allegations. Observations and documents obtained did not corroborate the allegations. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.

No Title 22 Deficiencies observed in the areas that were evaluated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Owner/Director [or facility representative] Charunika Jayasena.
