25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Kyrsten Williams and Erwina Pascual-Golamco conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of checking the play structures. The facility recently completed a change of location on 08/07/23. Today's census included 57 preschool children, 5 toddlers, and 11 staff members.
LPAs toured the facility's outdoor space. LPAs observed, there is one outdoor activity space with a play structure labeled for preschool children ages 2 years - 5 years and one outdoor activity space with a play structure labeled for the toddler option age 18 months - 23 months. LPAs observed the playground contains bark that is used for cushioning to absorb fall. LPAs observed there is a fence surrounding the playground and separating outdoor toddler play area from the outdoor preschool play area. LPAs observed the fence surrounding the playgrounds is 3 feet 11 inches tall, however, there is a taller fence over 4 feet tall surrounding the entire school premises. Licensee stated they have a canopy they will put up temporarily for shade until the hip shade structures are built. Licensee stated the hip shade structures will be ready in three months.
Based on observation, play structures are ready for use.
In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed at the time of the visit.
