25 | On Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:05 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tanya Washington and Julia Maryanova met with Licensee, Anastasiia Vorobyev, for the purpose of an unannounced annual/random inspection as well as to increase facility capacity to the maximum number of 14 children. Upon arrival LPAs observed Licensee providing care and supervision to five daycare children. There were no other adults present in the home. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
On October 24, 2024, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department granted a fire clearance to operate a large license.
A health and safety evaluation was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Off-limit areas include: living room, two bedrooms, laundry room and garage. Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. LPAs observed that the facility is clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair. LPAs observed a functioning smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and a full 2A10BC fire extinguisher. The facility has adequate toys that appear to be safe for children to use. The licensee stated there are no weapons or poisons in the home. There is no fireplace in the home. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
LPAs reviewed five children’s files which were observed to be complete. LPAs also reviewed two staff records which appeared complete. Required postings and the children’s roster were observed. LPA's observed that the last fire drill was documented May 29, 2024. Licensee’s CPR/First Aid card expires 06/2026. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training is valid until 05/21/2026. Licensee is reminded that both certificates must be renewed once every two years. LPAs reviewed safe sleep checks for infants under two years old.
LPAs verified that the annual fees are current. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
