13 | On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lea Habtom arrived at the facility to close a complaint. Upon arrival, there were 3 children consisting of 1 infant, 1 preschool, and 1 school age child being supervised by the licensee and her assistant. Licensee picked up one more child and one other child was dropped off during the inspection bringing the census to 5 children consisting of 1 infant, 1 preschool and 3 school age children. All staff present during today’s inspection have fingerprint clearances and associations.
During the investigation, LPA Habtom toured the facility, conducted observation, and interviewed those pertinent to the investigation. Other than the reporting party interview, LPA Habtom was unable to gather enough information to validate or invalidate the allegations pertaining to personal rights that the licensee transported daycare children in an unsafe manner, licensee handled a day care child in a rough manner, the licensee forced daycare children to eat, the licensee used inappropriate discipline methods and the licensee hits daycare children therefore the outcome is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur. |
