25 | On Monday, November 20, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Sutter met with Applicant Natalya Kalinovsky for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing inspection. During today’s visit, applicant’s husband was also present in the home. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Applicant plans to watch children 1-5 years old Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside the home. The facility is a single story house which includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, garage, and a backyard. Off-limit areas will include: all bedrooms, primary bathroom, garage, and backyard. Applicant understands that children may never enter these off-limit areas.
Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children and out of children’s reach. Sharp knives and children’s medication are stored in the kitchen, which is secured using gates. A functioning smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and 2A10BC fire extinguisher were observed. There is a pool on the premises. LPA observed wood lattice on the right side fencing, which is climbable. LPA observed a fireplace barricaded according to regulation. Applicant stated that there are no weapons in the home. Applicant stated that poisons are secured in the shed behind a combination lock. LPA discussed all required licensing postings.
Applicant has completed the required Preventative Health and Safety course with the Lead Poisoning Prevention training. Current EMSA approved pediatric CPR/First Aid trainings were verified and expire 6/2025. Mandated Reporter training was verified and expires 10/31/2025. Applicant understands that these trainings must be updated every 2 years.
