25 | Licensing Program Analyst Jennifer Velasco (LPA) conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with facility representative, Director Diana Tschoepe (Representative). LPA toured the facility, including all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service and outdoor play areas.
The purpose of today's case management inspection is to follow up on Representative's having notified the Department of planned updates to the facility's preschool and school age playgrounds. Prior to the work starting, LPA reviewed facility's safety plan and expected outcomes. On 09/06/2024, LPA toured the updated playgrounds. The playgrounds' updated features did not cause a change of footprint or a loss of unencumbered outdoor activity space for children. The playground updates did not necessitate a change of capacity for the components of this single-license facility.
No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted and a notice of site visit was provided and must be posted where visible to parents for 30 days. |
