25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the licensee, Khatira Hussain Khil, for a case management inspection. The licensee submitted an application to the department to increase the capacity from eight to 12 children in care.
During today’s inspection, LPA inspected the facility. The day care areas are Living Room, Hallway, Bathroom in the hallway, Bedroom on the left side at the end of the hallway, Bedroom on left side at the end of hallway, Kitchen, Dining area and Backyard. Off limit areas: Master bedroom, Garage and storage in the backyard. LPA observed the licensee has working smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector and fully charged fire extinguisher on site. Per licensee, there are no firearm or weapon in the house. There are no pools, spas or other bodies of water on the property. All the cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals are stored inaccessible to the children. Fireplace is barricaded.
Licensee’s CPR training certificate is valid until January 2026. The property was inspected by the local fire department and clearance was granted. During inspection, LPA informed the regulations and laws for the Large family child care home license to the licensee and a handout was provided.
During today’s inspection, LPA did not observe any hazard in the house. Licensee has the clearance from local fire department and LPA informed the licensee about the regulations. Therefore, licensee will be granted the large family child care license with maximum capacity of 12 children in care. Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the licensee, Khatira Hussain Khil. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
