25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with applicant, Nazaneen Safi, for a scheduled pre-licensing inspection at the facility. Applicant was previously licensed (343624460) and has applied for a new license due to change of location. Applicant lives in a single story single family home. Applicant has provided the evidence of ownership of the house. Child care will be provided in areas: Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom next to the kitchen, Bedroom left side of the entrance, Hallway, two Bathrooms in hallway and one bedroom in hallway. Off limit areas: Master Bedroom, Garage and Backyard. Applicant understands that all off limits areas must remain inaccessible to children. Applicant was notified that prior to use of any off limits area, the department must be notified. Child care will be provided from Monday to Friday between 6AM to 12 Midnight.
LPA Singh inspected the entire home with the applicant for health and safety hazards. The house has proper temperature and ventilation. All the toxic or dangerous materials are stored in off limit areas. There are no pools, spas or other bodies of water on property. Per applicant, there are not firearm or weapon in the house. There are no pets in the house. The house has a working telephone, smoke detector, fully charged fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector. There are no stairs and no fireplace in the house. There is a variety of age appropriate toys available. All unused electrical outlets have child protective covers installed.
LPA reviewed with applicant the LIC 311D, Forms/Records to Keep In Your Family Child Care Homes, children's forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted. Applicant has record of valid CPR training until December 2025. Applicant understands that fire/earthquake drills are to be conducted every 6 months and recorded. Applicant understands that baby walkers, bouncers, and excersaucers are not allowed.
