32 | LPA received EMSA certificate for Preventative Health, Safety, Nutrition, and Lead Poisoning Class training, Applicant's EMSA Pediatric CPR and First Aid training is valid until 12/2024 and Mandated Reporter Training (MRT) is valid until 07/2025. Applicant understands Pediatric CPR, First Aid and MRT training must be renewed every two years. Applicant stated that there are no weapons or firearms in the home. Backyard is fenced, supervision was discussed, and applicant understands that children must be 100% supervised in unfenced yards. There is an in-ground pool on the premises, however, the fence does not completely surround the pool and LPA observed two window access from the kitchen and bathroom 1 and a sliding door access from Bedroom 1 to the pool. LPA observed that fence is constructed so that it does not obscure the pool from view, gates swing away from the pool, self-close and are self-latching. Self-latching device is located no more than six inches from the top of the gate. Fence is designed and installed so children are unable to remove any portion of it. Fence is not easily climbable by children. Opening between railings does not exceed 4 inches. Bottom of fence is no more than 4” from the ground on hard surface. Horizontal railings are at least 45 inches apart. Fencing is thick enough that it cannot easily be broken, removed, or stretched by children.

When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
