25 | On 09/23/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx, met with Licensee, Mohammad Ajmal Mula Khel, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced annual inspection. During the inspection, the licensee's two minor children were present during today's inspection. Facilities hours of operation are Monday through Friday 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in the areas accessible to children. Off-limits areas include: Entire upstairs, and garage. Off-limit areas are made inaccessible by baby gate, locked/closed doors, and supervision. LPA observed a working telephone, first aid supplies, functioning smoke/carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher within the home. LPA observed home appeared safe, sanitary, and orderly. LPA observed that hazardous items such as cleaning solutions, medication, sharp utensils, and other items that could pose a danger to children in care, are inaccessible to children in high out of reach cabinets. LPA observed stairs have baby gate for barrier and fireplace has a glass barrier preventing access. LPA observed toys, equipment, and materials within the home available to children. Licensee stores poisons/hazardous materials in a locked shed within the backyard. Licensee stated there are no firearms/weapons, or bodies of water on the premises.
LPA reviewed records for the facility, Licensee/assistant, and children. LPA observed all required postings were posted/visible to parent/guardians. LPA observed a children's roster maintained and a fire drill log with drills being conducted/documented at least every 6 months; last fire drill was conducted 05/2025. LPA reviewed children’s files for currently enrolled children and verified all files were complete the required licensing forms. LPA reviewed records of Licensee; Licensee has current approved pediatric CPR/First Aid training expiring 01/2027. Licensee is exempt from mandated reporter training. Licensee was reminded that CPR/first aid training must be completed every two years.
