On 5/5/2025, License Program Analysts (LPAs) Pa Dao Vang and Madie Goodwin conducted a complaint investigation inspection made to the regional office on 2/7/2025. LPA met with the Director Mariska Jordan and Licensee Sadie Hardin to investigate on the above allegation. LPAs observed 22 children supervised by 4 staff during indoors and outdoors activities.

During the inspections on 2/13/2025 and 5/5/2025, LPA conducted interviews, made observations, gathered documentation, and reviewed files. LPAs witnessed instances of staff using appropriate comments and verbal communication with children. The parents, children, and staffs’ interviews also did not revealed a preponderance of evidence of staff using inappropriate comments to children in care. Based on LPA’s investigation, there are no Title 22 violations at the facility.

Therefore, although the alleged violation may have happened or is valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore they are unsubstantiated. There is no deficiency issued today. An exit interview was conducted, notice of site visit, and appeal rights were provided to Director Mariska Jordan and Licensee Sadie Hardin. Notice of site visit will be posted for 30 consecutive days.
