25 | On Thursday, 2/12/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Sutter met with Applicant Jamela Ibrahimi for the purpose of a change of location pre-licensing inspection. Applicant was previously licensed under facility #343625002. During today’s visit, applicant’s husband and four minor child were also present in the home. Applicant plans to operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
LPA received the Fire Safety Inspection Clearance from the Sacramento Metro Fire Department on February 5, 2025, and the home has been cleared for up to 14 children. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.
A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside the home. The facility is a two-story house which includes 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, kitchen, a living room, garage, and a backyard. Off-limit areas will include: upstairs, garage, and bedroom next to garage. Applicant understands that children may never enter these off-limit areas.
Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children and out of children’s reach. Sharp knives are stored in kitchen cabinets out of children’s reach. Medication is stored in a hallway cabinet out of children’s reach. A functioning smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and 2A10BC fire extinguisher were observed. LPA observed stairs and a fireplace barricaded according to regulation. Applicant stated that there are no weapons or poisons in the home. LPA advised the applicant that if there are ever any poisons at the home, all poisons must be locked with a key lock or combination lock. There are no bodies of water on the premises. LPA discussed all required licensing postings.
The applicant provided proof of control of property. Licensee and her husband own their home.
