On August 21, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams met with Licensee, Jamal Amin, to deliver findings for the above complaint allegations. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. Present today, was licensee's mother and licensee's sister. Licensee's sister is the assistant for the facility. Census included three children in care being supervised by licensee and assistant.

It was alleged licensee had day care children in off-limits garage. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews and made observations. During interview with licensee, it was learned the garage was perviously used for their family or when guests come. Licensee stated the garage is off-limits for child care children and the child care children have not been allowed in the area. LPA conducted additional interviews and did not learn of any evidence that child care children have been allowed in off-limit areas. During times of inspections, LPA did not observe anyone in the garage.

It was alleged licensee allowed uncleared adult to reside in the home. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, made observations, and reviewed records. LPA did not observe any uncleared adults during visits on 6/24/25 and 8/21/25. Interviews did not reveal uncleared adults residing in the home or caring for children.

Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that it did or did not occur, therefore, the complaint is unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with licensee, Jamal Amin. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights are provided and explained.
