32 | LPA measured total indoor preschool activity space of 1,056.9 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 30 preschool children. LPA measured total indoor school-age activity space of 1,225.162 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 35 school-age children.
LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, cots, cribs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via filtered water stations in each classroom and children's individual containers provided by the parents/guardians. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. The fire department provided an approved fire clearance form to Licensing on 2/20/2026. On 2/26/2026 LPA submitted a new fire clearance request for the reduced capacity.
LPA observed two changing tables, one in the Infant Room and one in the Toddler Room. Changing tables have at least 1” padding covered with moisture-resistant, washable material. Sides of the changing tables are at least 3” high. During today's inspection, LR ordered a portable sink to be placed within arm's reach of the toddler room changing table. There is a sink within arm's reach of the infant room changing table. Diapering sinks are not used for meal preparation or dishwashing. The infant napping area is physically separated from the indoor activity space according to regulation. There are 3 cribs meeting regulatory requirements in the infant napping area. LR stated that no more than three infants requiring a crib for napping will be enrolled at any given time. Sleep Logs and Needs and Services Plans will be kept in a binder in the infant classroom.
There is a toilet for potty-training children in the infant room, three toilets in the Preschool Restroom, and three toilets in the School-Age Restroom. The total 7 toilets are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 91 children. The preschool and school-age restrooms are located in the Main Hallway. During today's inspection, LR submitted a waiver request to allow children from the toddler component and children from the preschool component to share the Preschool Restroom. The School-Age Restroom has three closing stalls to provide individual privacy. The facility has a total of 6 sinks. These are not sufficient to accommodate the requested facility total capacity of 91 children. Once the toddler room portable sink is delivered, the total number of sinks will be sufficient for the capacity of 91. There is a separate staff restroom equipped with a toilet and sink. The isolation area for children who are ill will be the Teacher's Office.
Meals are provided by parents. Facility will provide morning and afternoon snack. Snack menu is posted near the front desk and on the kitchen refrigerator. There is a refrigerator in the infant room for milk and formula storage. Hazardous solutions and cleaning supplies are stored in a locked cabinet in the staff restroom, inaccessible to children.
