32 | Interview with relevant party indicated that a resident's sleep as been disturbed at the facility.
Interviews with residents R5 and R7 indicated that they have had their sleep interrupted by staff in the past. However, R5 and R7 indicated that, after communicating their sleeping preferences with staff, their sleep was no longer interrupted. No other resident interviews indicated that they have experienced their sleep be disturbed at the facility.
Interviews with staff members S1, S5, S6, S7, S8, and S9 indicated that, if they are aware of a resident's sleeping schedule, they will work around that resident's schedule to provide services. No other staff interviews indicated that they were aware of any residents' sleep being disturbed by facility staff.
Based on interviews conducted, the preponderance of evidence standards have not been met. Therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that a complaint allegation is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
Exit interview was conducted with Executive Director and a copy of this report was provided to the facility. The signature of the Executive Director on these forms acknowledges receipt of these documents. |
