13 | On 09/11/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pedro Solorio-Gutierrez conducted a follow-up investigation and to deliver findings. LPA met with licensee Desiree Valdez. LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility. Present were licensee, assistant Maria Gutierrez, and five daycare children, including one infant.
During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with licensee, assistant, and parents, and attempted to interview children. Based on LPA’s interviews, adults did not present evidence and since the children were unable to interview, there is not evidence to prove the allegation did or did not happen.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No deficiencies cited during visit.
Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with the licensee Desiree Valdez. Appeal rights was handed to the licensee.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
