Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maddox met with Director, Deanna Herndon and Assistant Director, Heather Moon today for the purpose of conducting an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA toured and inspected all areas according to the facility sketch (2 classrooms and outside play area). This Pre-School program is held on the campus of Cal State University San Bernardino in the Children's Center. There's also a School-age Component (360909152, which operates in the Summer months only) and an Infant/Toddler component located in a separate building (364815293 also inspected today). The hours of operation are MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:30 AM - 5:30 pm

**LPA noted age appropriate furniture, equipment, toys and materials. Classrooms were observed to be clean, safe and free of any Health or Safety hazards. Telephone service was verified as well as adequate heating, lighting, and ventilation. Children's belongings are kept in cubbies along the wall as you enter classrooms and labeled with each child's name. Bedding and linens are stored in individual plastic bags to ensure no bedding or linens encounter other bedding or linens from other children (also stored in cubbies labeled with each child's name). Drinking water is available inside the classroom in the form of water fountains.
**The children's bathrooms are located within each classroom. The front bathroom contains 3 toilets and an open sink with 3 faucets; the rear bathroom has 2 toilets and another open sink with 3 faucets - 1 single sink inside the bathroom.

**The staff restroom is in the rear classroom. LPA observed the bathrooms to be clean and sanitary, with soap, toilet paper and paper towels readily available. Toilets and sinks are functioning properly and age appropriate.
