Napping: Cots used are maintained in good condition, wiped/cleaned/disinfected (daily, weekly or when soiled) with child’s name. LPA observed that soap, toilet paper, and towels were readily available. The water temperature is appropriate; if hot water (temperature 105 degrees F and 120 degrees F) is available, hand-washing fixtures used by children are not required to deliver hot water.

Parents are responsible for providing lunch for their child. Per director the center only provides am and pm snacks. Per director there are no menus or allergy lists currently posted until care resumes. Menus and allergy lists are posted on bulletin board and kitchen. LPA observed food handling certificate.
Outdoor: The outdoor play area was inspected for health, safety, good repair, and appropriate age equipment. The entire playground is enclosed (brick fencing, iron gates) to protect children and to keep them in the outdoor activity area. The facility has one playground area with a metal shaded pergola rest area, with two lunch tables underneath; free from hazard, holes, broken items, debris; cushioning material underneath (rubber flooring) and around high climbing play equipment. Playground has grassy areas and concrete for proper playing.
Other: LPA reminded director to perform Disaster and Fire Drills every 6 months. Director understood. Fire extinguisher 4A40BC was observed to be next to entrance door (last served 7/23/26), smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in classroom and fire alarm system are operable. Electrical outlets are inaccessible (plugs). There are no window cords accessible to children (twist handle).
