On the above noted date and time, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Diana Brasel conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an Increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representative Ursula Macias Associate Director. Licensee is requesting to be licensed for a total of 56 children, 24 infants ages 0-18 months in rooms 1, 2, and 8A. 32 toddler option children ages 18 months - 36 months in rooms 3, 4, 5 and 6. Hours of operation will be Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Present during today’s inspection were (27) children with (10) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Ursula Macias that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.

LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 2539.70, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (56) children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via *** There are sufficient cribs, cots, toilets, changing tables and a potty chair. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 11/06/24.

LPA observed a total of (10) sinks and (4) toilets (1 is a potty chair) available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (56) children.

The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing chain link and wood panel, which is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 3698.75, which is sufficient to accommodate 49 children only at one time, insufficient for the number of children being requested (56) . A playground waiver to share the playground at different times in the AM and PM due to limited square footage shall be submitted and approved prior to licensure. Shade is provided via large built in canopies. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is adequate cushioning material which is artificial turf. Drinking water is available via filtered water and disposable cups. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Facility representative Ursula Macias was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.

No corrections are needed.



A shared time schedule waiver for the outdoor playground will be submitted.
Once the approved waiver is obtained, the request to increase from 48 infant/toddler option children to 56 infant/toddler option children will be granted. .

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
