25 | On Thursday, September 18, 2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)Braddock, conducted an unannounced annual Inspection. LPA met with Licensee Un Salazar who guided LPA on a tour of the home. People who reside in the home are (Licensee and 1 adult child) who are live scanned and have TB skin test on file. .The large family childcare home operates Monday through Friday 5am to 7pm. At the time of the visit there were 3 children present with 1 staff member. Per licensee her last day operating will be September 30th 2025. Per licensee, she will be relocating her facility to Apple Valley California. LPA printed a copy of LIC279 and LIC279B. LPA also advised that licensee complete the application for relocation ASAP.
This is a one-story family home. There is a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, back and side yards, and attached garage but not accessible from inside the home via the gated, off-limits kitchen. Licensee does provide napping and there are 14 mats available and one play yard. The off-limits areas are the three bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, side yards, and garage. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, children can bring food from home and is placed in a refrigerator for the child care, properly labeled. There is fire place located in the family room which is inaccessible to children with a metal gate barrier locked. LPA observed 2 dogs
There is not a body of water or premises
The home was inspected inside for comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation. Knives are kept in the off-limits kitchen in a drawer with a safety latch, inaccessible to children in care. Medication is kept in the off-limits kitchen in a high cabinet, inaccessible to children in care. Cleaning supplies and chemicals are kept inaccessible in the garage, off-limits kitchen under the sink cabinet, and in the bathroom under the sink with a safety latch kept away from children in care.
