25 | On the date and time listed above, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Aman Lama and Justin Giese made an unannounced visit to the facility for the purpose of Proof of Corrections (POCs) from an unannounced inspection conducted on 08/23/2024. LPA's met with licensee, Saundra Lofton and discussed the purpose of the visit.
The following citations were cleared during todays visit:
1. 102417(g)(10): (g) The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (10) A baby walker shall not be allowed on the premises of a family child care home in accordance with Health and Safety Code Sections 1596.846(b) and (c).
2. 102417(g)(5) (g) The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (5) All licensees shall ensure the inaccessibility of pools (in-ground and above-ground), fixed-in-place wading pools, hot tubs, spas, fish ponds and similar bodies of water through a pool cover or by surrounding the pool with a fence.
3. 102417(d)(1) (d) The home shall provide safe toys, play equipment and materials. (1) Fixtures, furniture, and equipment that have been banned or recalled by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission shall not be used for children in care or accessible to children in care.
4. 102425(j)(2)(D)(c) Documentation shall be maintained in the infant’s file and be available to the Department for review. Documentation shall include the following: Time of each 15-minute check
