On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sara Rajapakse conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with licensee, Sarah Kilgore, who granted access and guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA verified that all adults currently residing or working in the home received a background clearance. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm and care is provided for children ages 0 to 12 years old. LPA observed 6 children in care. LPA observed facility to be within ratio. Annual fee is current. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) were discussed, and the licensee confirmed that no children currently require IMS. There are no bodies of water on the premises.This facility is a one-story home with three (3) bedrooms and two (2) bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, sun room, attached garage, front and backyard.
Areas off-limits to children include- three (3) bedrooms and one bathroom, a kitchen, front yard and partial backyard.
Areas accessible to children include- Bathroom #1, dining area, living room with fireplace, sun room, and partial backyard.
LPA inspected the facility for safety, comfort, cleanliness, ventilation and working phone (cell phone). For ventilation, facility has central AC/heater. LPA observed the furniture, children’s materials, to be in good condition and age appropriate. Electrical outlets were covered. LPA observed napping mats and playpens to be in good condition. LPA observed a fireplace with a iron fence. LPA observed one walker and two infant rockers inside the home. In the outdoor area, LPA observed three walkers. LPA informed Licensee that baby walkers and infant rockers are not permitted in the daycare. Licensee removed them immediately.
