On the above noted date and time, Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's), Diana Brasel and Griselda Castellon conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase of capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Jenny Ortiz. Applicant originally requested an increase from 25 preschool children to 33 preschool children. On today's visit they applicant has submitted an updated LIC 200A requesting to increase to 30 preschool children ages 2 through 5 years of age in classrooms #4, #5 and #6 .Hours of operation will be Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Present during today’s inspection were 13 children with 3 staff and an Aide. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Jenny Ortiz that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.

LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 1314.49, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 30 children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via fountains and disposable cups.

LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property.

Fire clearance was granted on 09/12/2024.

LPA observed a total of 6 sinks and 3 toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 30 children.

The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing wrought iron and block wall. which is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 2299.32, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Shade is provided via mesh canopy and trees. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is an age appropriate climbing structure on the playground, which is properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by rubber material. Drinking water is available via igloos and disposable cups. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Director Jenny Ortiz was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.

No corrections are needed.



LPA will obtain an updated STD 850 for the change in capacity request from 33 to 30 preschool children.

LPA will process the capacity request from 25 preschool children to 30 preschool children.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Jenny Ortiz.

A notice of site visit was given, posted, and must remain so for 30 consecutive days.
