On Monday, December 2, 2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Braddock conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings on the above allegations. LPA met with licensee, Domekia Thomas, and toured the facility. At the time of the visit, there were 4 children present with 2 staff.

During the investigation, LPA conducted confidential interviews, reviewed facility files and records, obtained documents pertinent to the investigation, and toured the entire facility. The following allegations were investigated: 1) Licensee is not providing a safe environment for children in care, 2) Adult in home is selling drugs on the premises, 3) Adult in home uses foul language towards day-care children.

Based on information obtained, and LPA observations the above allegations are deemed Unsubstantiated at tins time.

 An Unsubstantiated finding means, the above allegations may have happened or are valid, but there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or disprove that the alleged violations occurred. Licensee was informed if additional information arises, this complaint may be reopened, for further investigation.

This inspection was conducted in person. LPA read the report with Licensee, Domekia Thomas and provided a copy of the report, Appeal Rights, and a Notice of Site Visit was given and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted.
