On 05/07/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia met with Domekia Thomas for the purpose to deliver findings in regard to the complaint investigation and the allegations above. Upon arrival, LPA conduced a tour of the facility and verified a census of 3 children and 2 adults providing care and supervision. All adults were fingerprinted and cleared.

During the investigation, LPA Garcia conducted interviews with complaint relevant parties and gathered additional complaint relevant evidence. The investigation consisted of interviews conducted with children and other relevant parties. The interviews conducted revealed that the licensee ensures the children are adequately supervised and the children do not approach or wait in the daycare transportation vehicle alone or without being accompanied by an adult. In addition, through interviews it was revealed that children do not use the front yard for daycare purposes and do not cross the street alone without an adult.

Based on the information obtained and LPA's interviews, the allegations could not be corroborated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.

An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, notice of site visit, along with appeal rights was provided to licensee, Domekia Thomas.
