25 | On September 4, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)Braddock, conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Natalie Beck who guided LPA on a tour of the home. People who reside in the home are home include 4 adults (licensee, co-licensee, and licensee's daughter and son) who are live scanned and have TB skin test on file. The large family childcare home operates Monday-Friday 7AM-5:30PM. At the time of the visit there were 11 children present with 3 staff members.
This is one story, 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with kitchen/dining, family room, living room, laundry room and garage. Per Licensee, the garage converted into the two daycare rooms. Children use the bathroom in hallway on the left. Off-limit areas of the home living room, kitchen, 4 bedroom and 2 bathrooms on the inside of the house and extended fences off backyard area. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, clean and orderly, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds (in laundry room off limits), medicines (master bedroom-off limits) and hazardous items (sharp knives are stored in the kitchen pantry) that can pose a danger to children. LPA observed the kitchen area to be barricaded by a safety gate. There is not a swimming pool/body of water on the premises. LPA did not observe pets at the facility.
