32 | Off-limits: Bedrooms #2 - #4, Bathrooms 2 and 3, kitchen/dining area (gated), family room, laundry and garage, and rear of backyard (gated).
Kitchen: LPA observed the kitchen fully barricaded with safety gate. Home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, and microwave. LPA did not observe any chemicals and cleaning solutions during the inspection. Hazardous items, sharp knives and sharp utensils (inside top cabinet above oven) that can pose danger to children. Licensee is part of the food program, serves Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
Bathroom: Children use the restroom located in the hallway to the right. This is a full bathroom with Shower, toilet and sink. Shower was observed to be free of hazards. The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoo, razor, and nail polish, etc. The toilet and faucet are clean and operable. LPA did not observe any chemicals. No cabinet underneath sink.
Napping: Takes place in the bedroom #1. Licensee provides mats, enough for children to nap. There are no infant children currently enrolled.
Outdoor: The yard was toured and inspected. The backyard is completely fenced (chain link fence). Backyard equipped with age-appropriate toys, Little Tyke playing structures, climbing round play apparatus, and bicycles. There is grass, mulch and concrete for proper playing with a table and chairs with umbrella for shade. LPA observed four storage sheds in backyard made inaccessible to children with locks, four pet tortoises, and several outdoor cats. Per licensee, animals do not interact with children in care. There is a separate off limit back yard, completely fenced (chain link). Large storage room with toys and off-limits with door lock.
Advisory/Other: CPR/First Aid, Expires: (3/12/2027). Mandated reporter, Expires: (3/6/2027). Electrical outlets (are inaccessible with plastic plugs). The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in operable condition. First Aid kit was observed to be full of supplies readily available. Fire extinguisher (2A10BC) next to kitchen, fully charged with the needle in the green. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the premises, and nobody smokes in the home. Per Licensee, transportation provided if needed.
LPA observed documents to be posted in a prominent, publicly accessible (License, PUB 394, Earthquake Preparedness, facility sketch, to be complete and current). Emergency Disaster Plan and verification of fire and earthquake drills (5/10/2026).
