32 | Outdoor/Children’s Play Area: LPA inspected the outdoor play space for safety, cleanliness, good repair, age-appropriate toys/equipment, cushioned floors, and shady areas. The infant outdoor play area is enclosed with fencing. LPA observed sand areas and cement areas cushioned with artificial grass. LPA observed a canopy for shade. Per LPA observation, there are no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the premises.
File Review: LPA reviewed two infant files which contained all required information. LPA observed Needs and Services Plan updated quarterly and Individual Infant Sleeping Plan documentation. LPA reviewed Director’s file and three staff files which included all required information. LPA verified that the infant teachers had the required Infant and Toddler units. At least one staff member had a valid Pediatric CPR/FA certificate on file. Last disaster drills last completed on 01/2026. Last lead testing conducted on 09/2022.
Postings: LPA observed required postings as follows: Facility License, Personal Rights (LIC613A), Parent’s Rights Poster, Passenger Car Seat Law (PUB 269), and Emergency Disaster Plan.
Other: Per Director, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Per Director, there are no firearms/weapons stored on premises.

Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
