25 | On July 18, 2022 at 12:01pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes met with Angie Bustillos. The purpose of the inspection was conduct a plan of correction inspection for citations issued on June 28, 2022. Present during today’s inspection were six infants and two staff members.
During this inspection, LPA and facility representative Bustillos completed a tour of the facility at approximately 12:05pm. LPA observed the outdoor infant play space appeared clean and safe. The rubber mats were secured to the concrete, the sand was free of debris. LPA completed a tour of the entire outdoor area and observed a locked door had been added making the construction materials inaccessible to the children. In addition the 6 inch plants had been removed and the area was free of debris. Per facility representative Bustillos, the facility has a staff member conducting daily perimeter checks of the outdoor area to ensure the area is free of debris. LPA conducted a tour of the infant indoor classroom. LPA observed rounded corner bumper pads had been added to the low shelving unit, the molding in the room was replaced and did not have sharp edges. Toys in the room were in good repair.
LPA completed a file review of the child files. Based on LPA's review the files were complete and contained the required information. LPA observed a disaster drill will conducted in July 2022 and classroom had a completed first aid kit.
Based on LPAs observation and record review all citations issued on June 28, 2022 have been corrected.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Angie Bustillos. |
