On June 24, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ibitoye and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Yates conducted an unannounced follow-up compliant inspection to Haney Family Child Care. LPA and LPM met with Licensee Cassandra Haney. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations.

Over the course of investigating the allegations regarding transportation and personal rights, the Department conducted interviews, with children, staff, and parents. In addition, LPA Zirbes completed a review of the facility records. The information obtained over the course of the investigation, revealed inconsistencies regarding if unknown children were transported by the facility without being secured in a restraint system or if the Licensee used inappropriate language in the presence of childcare children. Furthermore, LPA Zirbes review of the facility records did not corroborate the allegations. Therefore, the allegations have been deemed Unsubstantiated. A finding of unsubstantiated means that the allegations may have happened or are valid, but there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the violations occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Licensee Cassandra Haney.
