25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Babatunde Ibitoye met with licensee RASHON, REYES. The purpose of the inspection is to conduct an Annual/Random Inspection. Licensee is licensed to provide care and supervision for a Large Family Child Care for the capacity of 14 children. There are currently (12) children enrolled in the family childcare. Present during the time of this inspection is licensee, 3 Teacher (12) day-care children, per licensee all adults residing in the home has a Criminal Record Clearance. LPA toured the areas of the home utilized for the Family Child Care to ensure the home is incompliance with Community Care Licensing Title 22 Regulations. The days and hours of operation are Monday- Friday (5:00am to 12:00 am).
This is a single-story house with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room . Per Licensee 3 rooms, dining room, kitchen, 1 bathroom and side yard is utilized for the family childcare activity area. Per licensee off-limit areas of the home is the 3 bedrooms, 2-bathroom, backyard, and garage
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medicines and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children, LPA observed all items are made inaccessible to children during the time of this inspection. LPA observed age appropriate safe toys and napping equipment on the premises. Per licensee children nap in the living room. LPA observed all electrical outlets made inaccessible to children with safety covers. Per licensee, there is one firearm on the premises that is locked in the safe and ammunition is in a locked container in the closet. LPA observed a swimming pool in the off limit area backyard all the pool gate are locked accordingly Per Licensee day-care children are do not have access to the backyard. LPA observe in the backyard which is clean and neat.
